Jasmine and Joshua had some very challenging times at their previous schools, but since coming to Sidcot in Year 8, they have absolutely thrived, are so happy, and truly love their school.

Sidcot Parent

Jasmine and Joshua have both made so many great relationships with their teachers, been so stimulated and their hunger for knowledge so well fed, resulting in such great exam results without any pressure to perform, other than to put the effort in, which is all that can be asked of a student. The hard work of the teaching staff, to go beyond what is expected, and to do so graciously, and in a friendly and fun way is amazing. The development of rounded, happy young adults, and the creation of so many incredible life experiences that they have had and will continue to have, is just phenomenal, with their fantastic exam results not just being a credit to them, but to the whole school, and the school ethos and environment.

We are also grateful for all the extracurricular opportunities at Sidcot, such as those in the performing arts. If you would like to take to the stage, the school will provide the stage, audience, time, and a supportive environment to learn your craft. This has played an important role for both Jasmine and Joshua in providing a balance to their academic studies.

It was a fantastic experience for our son. He has adapted very well, he has made very good friends and everyone has helped to make it possible. He will always remember this year at Sidcot School and all his friends and teachers. We found Sidcot to be a fantastic School in all aspects, including its teaching methods and the teachers' relationships with the pupils, as well as how they motivate them.

We've been so impressed with Sidcot Pre-School so far! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with kind staff and friendly faces that immediately make you feel welcome. The environment is calm and nurturing, perfect for little ones starting their learning journey.

The facilities are fantastic, with an amazing swimming pool and lots of outdoor space for children to explore and enjoy. Lunchtime offers a great variety of food, and there's a wide range of fun, engaging activities that keep the children happy and stimulated.

What really stands out is how all-inclusive and well-rounded the experience is. It truly feels like an enjoyable place to be, for both the children and their families. We're really looking forward to watching our boys grow and thrive during their time here.

The Quaker values at the heart of the school’s moral compass are powerful and a major draw for parents seeking an education based on empathy and integrity as much as academic excellence.

The Good Schools Guide

Learning in the Junior School is often characterised by calm concentration and at other times by a lively enthusiasm for learning. Students of all ages listen to teachers and to each other to excellent effect. They work co-operatively very successfully.

We were very happy with our Sidcot experience, its practices, its human and spiritual values - the School and the people that make it will be missed. We truly hope it shall remain one of the very bright spots and an anchor in our daughter's life.

Sidcot Pre-School has been a fantastic experience for my daughter, Grace. From her not wanting to come home after her 2-hour settling in session by saying “I am not finished, Mummy”, to Mrs. Teagle helping her through her worries with swimming and not wanting water in her ear to encouraging her to try new foods and expand what she eats. Every step of the way, Grace has been encouraged, praised, supported and challenged which has helped enable her to have the confidence she has today. I know she will be going into her Reception class with the confidence and resilience Sidcot has helped install in her to make the transition seamless. I could not have asked for a better Pre-School for my daughter.
