Sidcot Holiday Club offers out-of-term care with a wide range of activities for children aged 3 onwards, from preschoolers through to older students. Whether they're looking for creative workshops, outdoor adventures, sports or specialist activity days, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Open to both Sidcot pupils and children from the wider community, everyone is welcome to join us during the holidays (excluding Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas & New Year).
Preschool Sessions
For children aged 3 - 4 years. These sessions run alongside, our main Holiday Club provision. Due to the care needs of this age group, swimming will not be included in their activity programme. At Sidcot Holiday Club, we provide a safe environment for children to learn and have fun while ensuring that they receive excellent care and support from fully qualified staff. Please note, children will need to be toilet trained to attend this group.
Sidcot Clubs
A Day at Sidcot Holiday Club
Children can arrive between 8:30am and 9:20am for free play before the day begins at 9:30am with welcome games and activities. The programme includes outdoor play, a daily activity, lunch, sports and a swimming session led by qualified instructors, followed by a snack and film before collection at 4:00pm. Late collection is available at 4:30pm or 5:30pm.
Our Preschool Holiday Club runs alongside the main programme, with younger children joining group activities, lunch and sports before enjoying age-appropriate afternoon activities such as story time, arts and crafts and free play.
Children should bring two snacks, a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle. Please note that foods containing nuts are not permitted due to allergies. Childcare vouchers are accepted.
Staffing
Our daily staffing ratios are at least 1 adult to 8 children. Half of all staff hold a recognised childcare qualification and all our staff are subject to DBS disclosure checks at the Enhanced Level.
Each swimming session is supervised by qualified lifeguards.
Opening times
8:30am to 5:30pm during school holidays. Pick up times of 4:00pm, 4:30pm or 5:30pm.

Summer Clubs
Bushcraft Skills
Explore the outdoors this summer with our Bushcraft Skills Days for children aged 8 -13. Running every Thursday throughout the holidays, children will learn practical woodland skills, enjoy outdoor adventures and build confidence in nature.
Creative Workshops
Get creative this summer with a range of hands-on workshops, including felting, sculpture, tie-dye, macramé and more. With a different activity each week, there's something for every young maker to enjoy. For children aged 8- 13 every Wednesday across the Summer holidays.
Swim Camp
Sidcot's Swim Camp returns this summer, offering young swimmers the chance to develop their skills in a fun and challenging environment. Taking place on Wednesday 5 August and Wednesday 12 August from 9:30am to 4:00pm, the camp is designed for swimmers aged 9+ who are currently swimming at Stage 10 standard or above.
The day will include swimming sessions alongside strength and conditioning, body balance and movement activities, and guided gym and studio sessions, all tailored to the age and ability of participants. A hot lunch is included, and places are limited to just 16 swimmers per day to ensure high-quality coaching and individual attention. The cost is £50 per day.
