Develop your basketball skills without compromising your education. Supported by Sidcot's award-winning teaching and pastoral teams, students can combine both Basketball programmes with a range of academic pathways, including GCSEs, A Levels, BTEC qualifications and the International Baccalaureate. Our international students can also pair the Basketball programme with any of our termly immersion courses, or Pre-GCSE Pathway.
Professional Coaching & Opportunities
Our programme goes beyond weekly training sessions. Students benefit from specialist coaching delivered by Bristol Flyers coaches, alongside opportunities to visit the Flyers' stadium, watch training sessions, meet players and gain insight into pathways within professional sport.
The impact of the programme can be seen in the success of our students. After nurturing his talent at Sidcot, George progressed to the Bristol Flyers junior teams and gained valuable experience training with a basketball academy, helping him take his performance to the next level.
"Playing basketball at Sidcot has really cemented my love of the sport and hopefully launched my future career. I really recommend getting involved with the team – not only is it good fun and exercise, but really great for building skills too!"
