They did it! Huge congratulations to George, Nyree and George for three incredible performances at the English Schools Track and Field Championships in Manchester, representing the Avon Schools team this weekend.
Nyree and George L won silver medals in the pole vault and shot put respectively (George L threw a PB of 14.99). Both have been selected to represent England next week.
George I also got a Personal Best in the triple jump, jumping 13.47!
Well done to all the athletes competing (especially in the hot weather) and especially to our Sidcotians - we’re really proud of you!
