Social Swim Club
Suitable for swimmers Stage 7+ who are moving on from the Learn to Swim programme, are competent in all four strokes and swim a minimum of 25m in each stroke. We cover skills in all four strokes with competitive swim elements. We work with criteria for the Swim England Learn to Swim Stages 8-10 Swimming framework but do not complete these stages. We do however complete the Rainbow distance awards. More details on both can be found on the Swim England website:
Please note this is a social club only, and we do not compete.
One to One lessons are available for all ability and age swimmers. These lessons can be beneficial for learning to swim, developing technique or working on a particular swimming element. Children’s lessons will use the Swim England framework as detailed above. We recommend that adult non-swimmers attend some 1:1 lessons before moving onto group lessons, these lessons will be working with the Swim England Adult Swimming Framework – more information.
Suitable for aged 18+ who are able to swim but are looking to improve stroke efficiency and/or learn new techniques (non-swimmers see 1:1 lessons above). The group lessons are small enough (maximum of 3) to allow the teacher to tailor the lessons to each swimmer. There is also the opportunity to practice strokes and gain distance awards if desired.
Lesson availability can be checked and bookings made online, if there is no availability and you would like to be added to a waiting list please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, date of birth and address.
