The web that will keep Class of 2013 connected

Walking along the corridors, there is a crackle in the air, you can feel the tension and nervous excitement as the end of exams peek around the corner and new adventures beckon. Students will leave Sidcot connected by life-long friendships and memories which, if the YouTube films are anything to go by, have a soundtrack of fun and laughter. In turn, although still very new to Sidcot, I am left with the feeling that whatever they do, Class of 2013 will really make their mark on the world – and the memory of a six-foot bearded crayon will stay with me for the rest of my days!

Sorry to see them go? Yes – but can’t wait to hear of their new lives, their travels, adventures, triumphs and new friendships. Every student automatically becomes a Sidcotian when they leave the school – joining the extended family of thousands of people in every corner of the world who have spent time at Sidcot.
To help everyone stay connected we have created an online community where students can register their details and make contact with old classmates or fellow Sidcotians living or working in their area. It is a growing community, but in time we really hope that it will provide a great network of support, help and advice to Sidcotians – giving our fresher-faced alumni a valuable insight into their chosen profession or friendly introductions if they move to a new region or country.

Membership of Sidcotians is completely free of charge and as well as the online community, benefits include regular newsletters with updates from old classmates and news of school developments. We can also help to organise reunions when the time comes!

Let the adventures begin!
