Triathlon Success
Our own Immy Moroney has had fantastic success in the British Triathlon Super Series. The 2015 Super Series included events in Hyde Park, Blenheim Palace, Liverpool and London's Docklands. The Elite Ladies Youths age group in which Immy falls is 15 and 16 year olds at 31 December 2015. With each athlete's best three finishes counting towards the overall points total, Immy was looking good for a top three place after wins in Hyde Park, Liverpool and a third place in London's Dockland. She was just pipped to the top spot by the West Midlands top Triathlete, 16 year old Caitlin Roper. A fantastic achievement indeed.
We note with excitement that Immy is one of the youngest competitors in this, her first year of competition and that she will have opportunity to race in this age group again next year. We very much look forward to hearing of further success.
