Sidcot Beaver Scouts
The Beaver Colony started at the beginning of the Autumn Term. Since then we have reached full capacity, now at 20 members, with more starting next term (once they have reached the aged of 5 and 3/4). We are very grateful to our leaders and helpers including Catherine (parent), Emily (Upper Sixth) and Lottie (Upper Fifth). Badge awards include: first aid, road safety, outdoor activities. We've also made edible bonfires, planted trees, embarked on some back woods cooking and got creative with arts and crafts. And, to finish the term, we are looking forward to our Christmas party.
Next term we have a trip planned with the Sea Scouts to go out on a rowing gig around Bristol Harbour. We are also in the process of planning our first camp, amongst many other exciting activities.
