What a start to the rounders season. There was a fantastic turn out, with over 40 girls attending the very first training session. We also had a good start to our fixtures programme with all year groups playing well against Hans Price Academy on Tuesday after school.
U12 unfortunately lost their first match but what a great start from the team and we are confident to see more from them in the up and coming term.
U13 won their first match 14 - 7, with Charlotte Harrison getting player of the match.
U14 lost their first match but only by a few, the final score was 10 - 8.5. Well done to Evie Ward, who got player of the match.
U15 won their match by half a rounder, with some superb bowling from Molly Whitcombe. The final score was 11 - 11.5.
If you have not yet attended training but would like to be considered for the team, please do come along to rounders practice on Wednesday 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
