Netball & Hockey: First of The Season

Well done to all the girls who took part in the very first netball and hockey match of the term against Hans Price Academy. Please see the scores below:

U12 Netball: Won 6- 1
Well done to player of the match Jamie Greengrass. A great first game for Third Form, starting off with a convincing win. There was some great attacking and driving from the girls and some excellent defense, keeping the ball away from the defensive circle. A great first match!

U13 Netball: Lost 11- 0
Well done to player of the match Phoebe Wring. A great start from the Lower Fourth netball team, there was some excellent driving from Beth, Emma and Phoebe. Some super defending and interceptions from Grace, Bea and Renee. A good start but unfortunately we were unable to score.

U14 Netball: Lost 9- 4
Well done to the player of the match Alyssa Dorney. It was an end to end game, there was some awesome defense from Eva Ward and Evie Smith. Charlotte did some fantastic driving into the centre court, a very close match but it was just unfortunate that Hans Price put the ball away more than us.

U15/U16 Hockey: Won 7- 0
Well done to player of the match Honor Mead. This was a marvelous opening of the account for our hockey girls. The mixed age group team that played linked up really well producing good hockey throughout the match. Numerous chances were created and a fistful of goals were scored. A great start!

Next week we have U15 hockey on Tuesday at Churchill away and then also a clutch (U12, U13 and U14) of netball fixtures on Thursday at Sidcot. It would be great to see supporters!
