A Midsummer Night’s Dream

From 25 to 27 June, a group of Year 11 students performed in an outdoor production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

In rain, bright sunshine, thunder, lightning and rainbows, the cast and audience carried on regardless! Our version of the play had been given a ‘festival-themed’ twist, which was well timed with both Glastonbury Festival and the Midsummer’s Day. The performance, and in fact the rehearsals, were great fun and a brilliant way for the GCSE group to let their hair down after exams. Come rain or shine, the drama department will still perform!
