Lower Fourth Camp 2015

Lower Fourth Camp 2015

Our Lower Fourth students have returned from the Cotswold Water Park where they had an exciting and active week at camp. A good time was certainly had by all.

Activities included sailing, windsurfing, raft building, rowing, kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle, walking and high ropes; all providing challenge and fun.

Our days culminated in award ceremonies and marshmallows around the camp fire and early beds in order to be ready for the next busy day!

Here is what some of the students said about it:

"The water sports were amazing."
"It was really fun, I loved it. All the activities were fun and I enjoyed doing them with my friends."
"Amazing. Real fun to try loads of new activities with people you wouldn’t normally work with."
"Camp was amazing and I have learnt a lot about myself and others while having fun."
"I think Lower Fourth Camp was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it was great."
"My least favourite bit was having to come home."
"It brought us together as a year group and I wish I could go again."
"I loved listening to funny stories around the camp fire in the evening."
"An enjoyable water filled week!"
"A fun and exciting way to bond with people in my year."
"Cool!"
"It was an incredible camp and I’m glad to have been a part of it."
"I’d never done it before but I’d sure do it again!"

And their favourite bits:

"Being with friends."
"Sailing was the best because we got to go fast."
"High ropes and raft building."
"My favourite meal was the BBQ with the kebabs."
