Letter of thanks from Ghana visitor, Mabel Dadson

I wish to thank the Headmaster of Sidcot School for opening his doors so wide. I have fully enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of both staff and pupils throughout my stay at this wonderful school.

I owe much gratitude to the English Department and the teachers of all those lessons I observed. I am absolutely amazed by the professionalism exhibited by each teacher. I witnessed the passion, skill and the enthusiasm with which you use to drive your lessons through. Furthermore, I clearly noticed you love what you do. The students and their responses testify that great learning takes place every time they meet you. I also appreciate the efforts you made for giving me the opportunity to see the famous theatrical production, War Horse – what a spectacle!

Yes, I have finally come to the end of another incredible episode in my life. It was tremendous to experience and to share quality time with colleagues in another part of the world. This is a very unique school and one I will not soon forget. I particularly enjoyed the Quaker Meeting and the singing with Mrs King on my last day!

I believe that my visit to the school is a seed planted for the future. I look forward to sharing my experiences with colleagues back home. I am really grateful to you all. Indeed, you have really made my stay a wonderful and memorable one which will last forever. Medaase papaada (thank you very much indeed.)
