Holocaust Workshops – Ammerdown Centre

The Upper Fourth and Lower Sixth students were invited to workshops looking at issues related to the Holocaust. These workshops took place to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January. The speakers were very engaging and the Y9s looked at the Kinder Transport, which provided them with a helpful introduction for when they look at the Holocaust in detail next term. We were well looked after by the Ammerdown Centre, and the beautiful weather provided for a well-deserved break in the gardens (as you can see in the photos). Thanks to Charlotte Manser and Mrs Goldhawk for their help getting us all safely across the snowy Mendips.
