A fantastic result for Sidcot first netball team. Excellent attacking and defending play throughout the court. New players Indeigh Winterson (GD) settled into the role with ease plucking interceptions out of thin air. Whilst the other new recruit Cressida Hoddell coped well with the pressure in the shooting circle, complementing Ella Kippax at goal attack. Evie Puddy claimed player of the match with her customary display of dynamic moves and positive play.
Sidcot U18B 12-13 QEH U18B
Firstly a huge thank you to Evie Ward, Elsa Cardale, Issy Lee and Pauline Dodenhof who stepped in at the last minute to play in the match. Today they epitomised true team spirit and commitment, something to be proud of! Did they just make up the numbers? On the contrary! Under the captaincy of Ella Hicks Hurley, and other first team members with their new confidence having now played in the Weston and District league, the super foursome complimented the team. Down by 9 goals to 6 at halftime, Sidcot B managed to narrowly miss out on a win by one goal at full time. Fantastic effort girls! Ella Hicks Hurley claimed player of the match at goal attack.
