We were delighted to welcome Alan Gibbons to Sidcot on Wednesday 2 October. Alan led creative writing workshops with Dee Cattermole’s and Andrew Sinclair’s Year 10 English groups and Andrew Sinclair’s Year 9 English class. The workshops got the students writing about an estate agent meeting a vampire client in the first session and a car crash in the second session, making the students “show rather than tell” the story which unfolded over the lesson.
