This was a fabulous afternoon of hockey - it was a pleasure to umpire such an enthusiastic and hard-working squad of girls. The first game against Worle proved a real battle and the defence were really put to the test and had to work extremely hard. A number of chances were repelled - but goals were eventually conceded, 3 in total.
The girls were not deterred and approached the second game in determined fashion and attacked robustly. Goals were scored (Evie Puddy, Molly Whitcombe, Alyssa Addison) and a solid win was secured.
Sidcot finished second in group. Good work!
