At the end of a very busy week with Christmas celebrations filling the timetable, the Year 5 and 6 swimming gala crept up on us a little but the team of ten boys and girls were ready!
This was an amazing event – smooth as ever with some equally amazing performances from all schools, held at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre in Weston-super-Mare. It was good to see our swimmers in real competition with some excellent swimmers from other schools. At the time of writing the full times for performances had not been sent. The results below are the position our swimmer came in the heats of their races.
Boys 50m Freestyle – Louis Brown = 3rd
Girls 50m Freestyle – Charlotte Tillekeratne = 2nd
4x25m Mixed Noodle Relay = 1st
Boys 25m Freestyle – Thomas Jefferies = 2nd
Girls 25m Freestyle – Katherine Milne = 1st
Boys 25m Freestyle 'B' – Max Greengrass = 1st
Girls 25m Freestyle 'B' – Mimi Woodliffe = 3rd
Boys 25m Breaststroke – Nathan Hill = 1st
Girls 25m Breaststroke – Charlotte Tillekeratne = 1st
Boys 25m Breaststroke 'B' – Louis Brown = 3rd
Girls 25m Breaststroke 'B' – Josie Jefferies = 2nd
4x25m Float Relay = 1st
Boys 25m Backstroke – Freddie Adams = 1st
Girls 25m Backstroke – Marielle Tringali = 1st
