New Business Venture for Sixth Formers

A group of Lower Sixth students have been selected to participate in the Tycoon Enterprise Competition, founded by Peter Jones (Dragons' Den).

This is a competition which allows young people across the UK to develop their entrepreneurial skills and learn how to run a business. The team is very passionate about business studies and they aim to embrace the opportunities they have been given.

The students have created a business called ‘Eco-origin’ which sells eco-friendly bags and handkerchiefs in a selection of colours. The items have been combined with a variety of printed designs which can be purchased online (alternatively order forms are available for students from a box in the Library or can be found in the hub on Tuesday break and Thursday lunch. Payment is available on parents' end of term bill or directly when you receive the product. The team aim for a 7 to 10 day turnaround date. If you have any queries please email Eco-origin for more details.

Many thanks from the Eco-origin team – Emma Tilley, Hannah Fairley, Maya Fairley and Eva Lohan
