We are so excited to announce that Sidcot School has been shortlisted for the Performing Arts (Music & Drama) category in the Independent School of the year awards.
We look forward to finding out the finalists in September and hearing the announcements of the winners in October.
"This year the judges have been particularly interested to read about the work being undertaken in the important area of EDI and have been struck by the increased emphasis many schools are placing on promoting social mobility; the effort being put into expanding bursary programmes is extraordinary as are the partnerships being undertaken with many state schools and other community bodies.
It has been truly wonderful to receive nominations which showcase transformative and innovative projects that are underway across the country, and it is with great pleasure that I am able to tell you that Sidcot School has been shortlisted for an award in the Independent School of the year for Performing Arts (Music & Drama) category."
