UPDATE 5.47pm: The School IT systems will be off overnight. This shouldn't affect students and staff through the evening but there may be a delay in starting the systems in the morning. UPDATE 3:52pm: National Grid are on site with a generator and have restored power to the school.
UPDATE 2:38pm: Please be advised that after school activities will continue to run today and buses will run as normal.

UPDATE 1:22pm: National Grid have notified the school that the fault has been identified and a fix is being worked on. They have informed us that a generator will be installed as a temporary measure and power should be restored by 3pm. A cold lunch has been provided to all pupils and lessons have continued throughout the morning. Pick-up for day students will continue as normal and those students staying for supper will be provided with a cold option. Separate catering arrangements will be made for boarders this evening.
UPDATE 11:38am: National Grid has informed the School that we should expect power to be up-and-running around 1:30pm today.
UPDATE 10:13am: We have contacted National Grid and they are coming into School to assess the power supply and provide an update. We have some power in School and lessons are currently continuing as normal.
We are experiencing power outages in some areas of the School and the local Winscombe area today. While we are investigating the external source of these outages, we are managing the situation in School with back-up power supply where available. Lessons are currently continuing as normally as possible.
In the instance that we are no longer able to communicate directly with parents via our In-Touch system, we will be updating this webpage to keep parents abreast of any essential information. We will update this regularly and ask all parents to check this throughout the day or until we send further communication directly to you.
