Developing a broad, global perspective is an important part of life in the Junior School. Each week, pupils in Years 3 to 6 join a lesson that encourages them to think about how they fit in to the world. They think about values, their own and other people’s. They discuss what we mean by right and wrong. They think about the global environment, and how it stretches beyond the School’s setting in rural Somerset and out beyond the confines of the country. These are big things to think about and it’s our experience that children engage enthusiastically with them, even from a very young age.
