In the Sixth Form there is extensive support for students to help them prepare for life after school. Our full time Careers Advisor is always available to support students in the decision making process alongside a range of other methods of support.
As part of the students PSHE programme there are lots of sessions dedicated to supporting students with advice on Higher Education and employment. Our team of experienced Progression Advisors see all students through the lengthy process of making university, apprenticeship and job applications, with tutors helping in the research and decision making process.
Sixth Form students attend seminars and meetings and we welcome speakers on specialist topics such as improving personal statements, studying abroad and gap year opportunities.
Once a week students have a flex period in their timetable which gives them the opportunity to visit the school councillor, attend Young Enterprise meetings, take part in the school council, go to career related talks or sessions on study skills and independent study.
