Pre-School 2
Sidcot Pre-School has been a fantastic experience for my daughter, Grace. From her not wanting to come home after her 2-hour settling in session by saying “I am not finished, Mummy”, to Mrs. Teagle helping her through her worries with swimming and not wanting water in her ear to encouraging her to try new foods and expand what she eats. Every step of the way, Grace has been encouraged, praised, supported and challenged which has helped enable her to have the confidence she has today. I know she will be going into her Reception class with the confidence and resilience Sidcot has helped install in her to make the transition seamless. I could not have asked for a better Pre-School for my daughter.
Finn's Sidcot Journey - Parent Review (Year 7 - Sixth Form)
We are incredibly proud of our son’s progress since starting Sidcot in Year 7. He came from a Dyslexia Specialist School, having previously been 3 years behind in a Bristol state school. When we applied to Sidcot, we were told that if he could not access the curriculum, the school would not be able to accept him. Luckily, he fitted in well and over the course of KS3/4, he improved in English and passed 7 GCSEs (grades 4-8).
This summer (2025), he achieved a double Distinction in his BTEC Sport and a grade B in his Geography A Level. He was therefore accepted to his first-choice university course in Architectural Technology at UWE. More importantly, everyone who meets our son outside of school says what a well-rounded and confident adult he has become compared to the very quiet and timid boy at primary school who was bullied for being ‘stupid’ by some of his classmates. We therefore wished to thank Sidcot for all their hard work and belief in him, and hope they give other students who may not be ‘traditional’ academic learners a chance to succeed at school.

Parent Review ''My child is already a different person..''
My child is already a different person, having been at Sidcot for less than a fortnight. We are so impressed with the change in her that results from being in such a positive and nurturing environment. We look forward to watching her flourish even further! We wanted our daughter to enjoy learning and to learn how to learn. I am so grateful to Sidcot for making this a reality.
Silvija, Year 11 International Boarder (Lithuania)
My time at Sidcot School is very memorable and positive. Living at school helped me become more independent and make strong friendships with people from different countries. The teachers and staff support everyone and are always there when you need them, so it feels like a second home here, where everyone cares about each other, there is always someone to turn to when there is a problem, and there is always someone to support. All teachers want the best for all students, so they encourage the best results in all lessons. All lessons are full of discussion and opportunities to express your thoughts. Sidcot School has excellent facilities and activities, from sports and arts to quiet learning spaces. There are all kinds of activities after school, so there is never a dull moment. This school has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and I always feel supported, encouraged to try new things and improve both academically and personally.
