Students in Upper Sixth are currently completing their Geography A Level coursework. As part of their studies they recently visited FSC Nettlecombe to gain expert advice and tuition on working 'in the field'. Under exam board rules they must research a geographical topic related to the syllabus. However, they must do this 3,000-word project independently. Between them they have researched a range of topics. These include coastal management, the possible effects of climate change and people's perspectives of place and space.
The next field trip will be to Sicily, departing early on Friday 19 October. This will include a visit to Mount Etna.
