Year 12 A Level History students took over their History lesson earlier this week with resources and activities they had planned and made themselves based on the events of the 1905 Russian Revolution. They were tasked, in the previous week, to read a few pages of the textbook but with the twist to present their learning in an interesting and creative way. They arrived to lesson on Monday with a fantastic variety of activities including a Snakes and Ladders board game; crossword puzzle; comic strip; left-the-flap booklet; Kahoot quiz and even a cake! All of which were based on the events following the 1095 revolution in Russia. I had no choice other than to abandon my lesson plan and spend the lesson working through all the activities they had prepared!
