Somewhere To Go

Somewhere To Go

School House Girls and School House Boys have donated 30 pairs of their used trainers and walking boots to the local charity Somewhere To Go (St. John's Church Hall, Boulevard, WsM, BS23 1NA) that looks after the Weston-super-Mare homeless. There are currently about 20 rough sleepers on the streets of Weston and the numbers are, sadly, growing as a result of the recent benefit cuts. Somewhere To Go has a dedicated team that provides the homeless with food, warm drinks, and medical and housing advice. The organisation is always in need of donations from the public in the form of new socks, underwear, and toiletries, as well as used clothes and sleeping bags. Thanks to boys and girls from SHG and SHB, some of the homeless will have dry feet this winter!
