Sixth Form yoga

In the serene space of the Concert Hall a group of Sixth Form students have been trying out Iyengar yoga as an option among the Wednesday afternoon sports activities. The yoga is taught through a system of asanas (poses) and aims to unite body and mind for health and well-being. The very active practice of these asanas brings vitality, flexibility, strength, concentration, self-confidence and mental calm but the firm favourite this term has been Savasana, the resting pose at the end of the class.
