Thank you

A big warm thank you to all who turned out for the Printmaking Exhibtion launch event on Saturday. The numbers were good and the event was a success.

Sidcot on BBC Radio!

If you listen to the Martin Evans show on BBC Radio Bristol this weekend, you might get to hear us being interviewed for the current exhibition! Myself (Georgina) and Gail Mason (printmaker participating in the show), did a recorded interview during the week. In case you miss it, we’ll post it on our Facebook and Twitter pages once it’s been broadcast. Don’t forget to tune in!

Exhibition – Printmaking: Print & Process

Our last show of the year continues this week. A broad and informative Printmaking exhibition that promises to be both enlightening and exciting.

Over two floors, this show brings together for the first time five Printmakers all based in the Bristol and Somerset areas. This alliance will showcase some of the most innovative artworks from their respective portfolios.

Liz Bird and Gail Mason (members of Spike Print Studio in Bristol), Bronwen Bradshaw, Pennie Elfick and Tony Martin (members of Somerset Printmakers and Fingerprint) will demonstrate original printmaking from figurative to abstract.

The show runs until 12 December and is open to parents and the public on Thursdays, 11.00am to 5.30pm, Fridays 11.00am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 4.00pm for the duration. Please note that on Friday 13 November the show will be closed from 1pm and there will be no access to the Arts Centre due to a private event.
