As part of the IB programme students completed a two day science project where they work in a team composing Biologists, Chemists and Physicists. For this year project students visited the Avalon Marshes nature reserve where they were able to gather samples and data in an area with lakes, meadow and marshland. They then returned to school to analyse their findings and prepare a presentation for pupils in the Lower Fifth.
It was rewarding to explore an attractive part of the Somerset levels and the students worked well in their groups.
