On Thursday last week the Upper Fifth artists went up to London in a posh double decker executive coach to visit Art. We went to two special exhibitions, one of the human figure at the Royal Academy of Art, and the second, an exhibition of 'outsider' art at the wonderful Saatchi gallery. We were lucky with blue skies and bright sunlight for the walk between the two, which took us through Green Park, and past Buckingham Palace. A great day out, and great in terms of inspiration for the current GCSE Art examination. We are trusting that all our students will write up the visit for their portfolios - they are pictured here on the front steps of the Saatchi.
