Students from Year 8 and 9 enjoyed a week-long exchange visit to Brittany, France, from 23-28 March with Mrs Bell and Mr Andrews. During the stay pupils followed their exchange partner during a typical school day, as well as going on various trips, including a French market, the seaworld centre ‘Océanopolis’ in Brest and a seaweed museum.
Millie (Year 8) writes: “I really enjoyed staying with my French penfriend. We visited Quimper to do some shopping and the île de Batz, a small island we went to by boat. There were many ups and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We are looking forward to having our pen pals back in June and showing them our culture.’’
