Our intrepid group of cavers set off for an explore down ‘Goatchurch’ cavern on Saturday morning, full of excitement and enthusiasm. And what fun it was! There were large domes and caverns, small and narrow tunnels, and gullies – all full of challenge. Much clambering and scrabbling was done up and down, through and over – and, eventually, up and back into the brilliant sunlight on the Mendips.
Well done to all! More challenge, teamwork and other Sidcot wheel skills to be undertaken next week!
