The British Triathlon Super Series brings together the very best of the UK's top Triathletes to compete against each other over six events throughout the UK starting in March and concluding in September. With household names and Olympic greats like the Brownlee Brothers competing at the same events, the races have regularly been televised by Channel 4.
The 2015 Super Series included events in Hyde Park, Blenheim Palace, Liverpool and London's Docklands. The Elite Ladies Youths age group is 15 to 16 years old on 31 December 2015. Sidcot's Immy Moroney, who doesn't turn 15 until November, is one of the youngest competitors in this her first year of competition at this level and has had to battle hard against the older more experienced girls.
With each athletes best 3 finish's counting towards the overall points total, Immy was looking good for a top 3 place with wins in Hyde Park, Liverpool and a third in London's Dockland, she was just pipped to the top spot by the West Midlands top Triathlete, 16 year old Caitlin Roper.
Immy will train over the winter at the South West of England's Triathlon Academy and will compete in the same age group next year.
