A varied and fulfilling role that offers invaluable experience of working in our busy PE Department assisting with the delivery of Sport/PE, assisting with the day-to-day running of a busy department, helping with the teaching of lessons and fixtures and co-curricular activities. The role will involve work in the Senior and Junior Schools, during the week and at weekends and also includes various boarding and school duties.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates in tune with our approach to education in search of gaining experience of living and working in a boarding and day school for one academic year, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE course or taking up a teaching position. The ability to coach hockey, netball and rounders would be particularly welcome, but other sports will be considered.
Start: September 2020
Contract: Fixed for one academic year
Hours: 40 hours per week during term time
Salary: £13,000 per annum
Contribution to accommodation and meals: £1550 per annum
