Sidcot School is conveniently located on the A38 making it an ideal choice for families living around the Chew Valley, Cheddar Valley and Mendip area who are looking for a local private school. We are also a popular choice for families commuting into and out of Bristol as we provide excellent wraparound care and daily school buses. Our proximity to the M4/M5 and our rail and airport links make boarding a popular option – weekly boarders can easily travel back to London or the Home Counties.
We currently operate a number of minibus services covering Bristol, Burnham, Uphill, Wedmore, Worle, Portishead and Clevedon and the Chew Valley. On arrival at the school Junior School age children are escorted into the building by our fully trained bus drivers.
Every weekday two school buses run a return service from Bristol to Sidcot. We also run a return service from Portishead and Clevedon. These buses depart Sidcot School at 5pm on a Monday, 16:00 on a Tuesday and Friday, and at 18:30 on a Wednesday and Thursday. Five bus services run weekday mornings from Burnham, Uphill, Wedmore, Worle and the Chew Valley.
