School transport

At Sidcot we understand how important school transport is to our parents and make every effort to provide a solution for those living in our catchment area. We currently run 10 minibus routes, with multiple stops, from all around the area. These routes are reviewed regularly to ensure we are providing the best routes and stops for our parents.

If you are interested in joining Sidcot and would like school transport please get in touch and we will work with you to find the best possible solution for you and your child.

Junior School children can use the bus if they are in Year 3 or above or have a sibling in Year 3 or above that they can travel with. On arrival at the school Junior School age children are escorted into the building by our fully trained bus drivers.

Our location

Sidcot School is conveniently located on the A38 making it an ideal choice for families living around the Chew Valley, Cheddar Valley and Mendip area who are looking for a local private school. We are also a popular choice for families commuting into and out of Bristol as we provide excellent wraparound care and daily school buses. Our proximity to the M4/M5 and our rail and airport links make boarding a popular option – weekly boarders can easily travel back to Bristol, London or the Home Counties.
