Events, Classes & Clubs
Sidcot has a number of links to the local community through schools and other groups who use our facilities. We also support local initiatives and events that benefit the wider community by providing resources to make them happen. The most recent project was the inaugural Winscombe & Sandford Community Festival during the summer of 2010. This initiative was created as a celebration of the local community and consisted of a number of events across the summer months, engaging local organisations and groups through different events and occasions. Sidcot was proud to be a main sponsor of the event, being able to utilise many of our facilities during the festival for the benefit of our community.
Throughout the year there are a number of events, courses and classes open to the public at Sidcot; whether it is something active going on in our Sports Centre or Equestrian Centre or a creative pursuit in our Arts Centre - there will be something here for everyone!
Shipmates Holiday Club
On each school holiday we run a club called Shipmates, that provides an environment for children to learn and have fun with excellent care. Specially qualified staff keep your children entertained and occupied with activities including crafts, sports, games and play and each day finishes with a session in our lovely swimming pool.

Toddler Group
Pop along to our Toddler Group and give your child the opportunity to use Sidcot’s fantastic facilities for just £2 per family. Enjoy your first session for free!
We welcome babies, toddlers and pre-school children accompanied by a parent, grandparent or carer.
Sidcot Arts Centre : Exhibitions, Events & Evening Classes
From ladies choir to yoga, and photography to French classes; there is something for everyone at the Sidcot Arts Centre.

Sidcot Sports Centre : Swim School, Lessons, Pool Hire for Parties
A brand new Swim School has just opened at Sidcot, teaching National Swimming Plan levels to children from the age of 4. You can join at any time through the year and lessons are during term time on Friday and Saturday.
Learn and develop your swimming skills in a beautiful pool that has been described as the ‘best in the west’. For more information download our Swim School brochure here..

Sidcot Equestrian Centre
Sidcot Equestrian Centre is a registered Pony Club centre and offers a range of equestrian services, including lessons and hacks. With a full livery service, outdoor flood lit arena and over 100 acres of beautiful Mendip hills, we are ideally located for both students and members of the public to enjoy.
