Senior School
At Sidcot we believe that we educate the whole child and place great emphasis on the broader curriculum. Through our programme of activities and in the relationships that are formed in our community, we hope that individuals develop into confident and communicative individuals. Our Quaker principles underscore how we work together as students, teachers, support staff and parents.
Specific Objectives therefore include:
- awakening a life long love of learning by attempting to make the educational process an enjoyable experience;
- using appropriate teaching styles to produce young adults who are kind, co-operative, self-confident, aware of their potential, ready to serve their fellows and with a broad and tolerant world view;
- securing the best possible public examination results for our students.
- providing an opportunity for all students, including those with learning difficulties, those for whom English is an additional language and those with special gifts or talents, to learn and make good progress.
