Overseas applicants

Overseas pupils are generally admitted at the beginning of the academic year in September, however in exceptional circumstances we may consider a January and April start.

A Level or International Baccalaureate Diploma

Courses available include A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma for Sixth Form students aged 16 years and over.

Pre A Level or Pre IB Course

We also run a 1 year Pre A-Level or Pre IB course for younger students or those that require some English Language support. This dynamic course allocates 50%of the timetable to English Language and 50% of the timetable to studying GCSEs, up to 5 or 6 depending on the ability of the student. The course enables students to work with the English language in different contexts through cultural activities and trips. We highly recommend this course to students requiring a better understanding of the English language before embarking on their choice of higher education. Many students who have taken the Sidcot Pre A Level or Pre IB have gone on to gain entry into top UK Universities including Oxbridge.

At the end of the course Sidcot pupils may gain certification within the internationally recognised Cambridge University EFL examination structure and at GCSE or IGCSE levels.
