Equestrian Centre

Horses have long been a part of Sidcot School history, originally used to pick students up from the train station or working the farm , now as part of our riding school. Our horses and ponies have the best possible care and have an adoring team of experienced equestrian staff to take care of their every need.

Sidcot Equestrian Centre is BHS approved and is open to both Sidcot students and the general public. We offer BHS training for students of 15 years and above and Riding and Road Safety training. To complement our riding lessons, we also hold various clinics to which you can bring your own horse. These include dressage, showjumping and cross country.

Pony Club

Sidcot Equestrian Centre is now an official Pony Club centre, which means that we run our own Pony Club as part of PCUK. Students are able to work towards and complete all of their Pony Club certificates on site.

Riding Lessons

Students of any age are able to take riding lessons at Sidcot Equestrian Centre, which includes seventeen stables, an outdoor all weather arena and a cross country course.

With 160 acres of land extending out onto the beautiful Mendip hills, students have a great opportunity to hack in our stunning surroundings.

Livery

Students are able to bring their own horses to stay at school which are looked after by our knowledgeable equestrian team. We offer a full livery service for students and for members of the public.
