Teaching and support staff

Sidcot prides itself on selecting and retaining highly qualified, developed and enthused staff, whether that is our Head of the Maths Faculty or our Head Gardener, all staff are committed to living our Quaker values and delivering the very best standards to our students.  Due to the ethos of the school, we attract staff members who are motivated by our values and these may be Quakers, however only 5% of our staff are actually ‘Friends’.  What is more important to the school is that our staff believe in and demonstrate the Quaker values in their daily interaction with our students. 

Sidcot invests in its people and all staff engage in a programme of CPD (Continual Professional Development) which  encompasses developing teaching and learning styles, leadership, subject scholarship and professional training.
