Scholarships & Bursaries

Sidcot school has a number of different bursaries available to parents to enable their children to attend our school. These are funded in different ways – in some cases by a legacy or by an associated body such as the Quaker Bursary Trust or our Old Scholars Association.

Bursaries

Bursaries are discounts available to new (and sometimes existing) students. Each has selection criteria defined by the relevant trustees. Some are only available to Quakers, but many are available to all. Most bursaries are intended to help a child enter the school and will continue for the duration of their education at Sidcot, others are intended to offer short term support and may be available in cases of financial hardship as a result of a change in circumstances.

Sibling Discounts

A 10% discount is given to children who already have one full fee paying sibling at the school and will be deducted from the lowest fee at that time.

Through the provision of bursaries, Sidcot aims to ensure that as many children as possible are able to attend the school, irrespective of their financial circumstances.

Scholarships

Sidcot has a number of scholarships available each year to celebrate students who either display an individual talent or academic prowess or who contribute to the school community in a way that demonstrates our Quaker values.  Details of scholarships are available  through Admissions.
