Spanish
Pupils may start learning Spanish in Year 8 to take GCSE in Year 11. This has proved to be a popular subject and pupils enjoy a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including Junior Spanish Club. Plans are afoot for a Mexico exchange and for cultural visits to Barcelona for the Sixth Form. We have two Spanish Assistants who help with language lessons from Year 10 upwards.
Pupils are invited to participate in visits to the theatre, cinema and study days on a regular basis in each language area.
