French
Pupils begin learning French through songs, games and interactive oral activities in the Reception Class of the Junior School.
French is taught throughout the Senior School. The wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer includes visits by the European Theatre Group, study days at UWE and Bristol University, a Junior French Club and the annual Cashmore French Poetry competition. Pupils in Years 9 and 10 often participate in the Bordeaux-Bristol exchange and there are cultural trips to France for the Sixth Form.
