Sidcot has long had an enviable reputation for the quality of its performing and visual arts. All who attend the theatrical performances, concerts and exhibitions that we stage are impressed by the high standard that students at Sidcot strive for and achieve.
But the performances and presentations are only the visible tip of an iceberg, the honey from the comb. As with any polished performance or exhibited masterpiece the observer is hidden from the hours, weeks and months of dedicated labour. Visit the creative arts area on any day, lesson time, evening or weekend and you will encounter the humming of the hive; the sound of music from a practice room, an evening life drawing class, lunch time rehearsals, one to one drama tuition for LAMDA qualifications or music lessons leading to Royal College of Music grades. The creative energy flows and grows with practice, patience and expert guidance.
