Can I come to Sidcot if I am not a Quaker?

My parents can’t pick me up until 6pm; can I stay late at school?
You can stay at school until 6.30 pm (3.45 - 5.00 pm Activities, 5.00 - 5.45/6.00 pm Prep or further Activities, followed by the evening meal).
Can I board during the week and go home at weekends?

What happens when I’m ill?
We have a Health Centre on campus, staffed by three nurses from 8.00 - 8.00 pm and the local Doctor's surgery has allocated times for our students if required. Read more
What’s the food like?
Good food, lots of organic produce and Fairtrade. Sidcot has a Healthy Eating Award. Read more
Can I use my mobile phone at school?
Yes, but not in lessons. The School sets guidelines for the use of mobile phones in order to minimise disruption of nuisance to others.
Is there a School Council?
Yes.
I was bullied at my last school; why will Sidcot be any different?

Where can I buy uniform?
We have a uniform shop on the School campus.
I have a friend in the Lower Fourth; what does this mean?
Sidcot School has retained traditional year group names. In the Senior School, Year 7 is called the Third Form, Years 8 and 9 are the Lower and Upper Fourth and Years 10 and 11 are the Lower and Upper Fifth. The Sixth Form spans Yeasr 12 and 13. In the Junior School, national curriculum Years 1 to 6 are taught in classes J1 to J6.
