Teaching at Sidcot

Sidcot offers an extremely rewarding teaching environment. The ethos is supportive and friendly and new staff fit in to the school environment very quickly. However, as a boarding school, no one is just a teacher here. Everyone contributes beyond the classroom and takes part in extracurricular activities, whether on campus or off it, and participates in the life of the school during evenings and at weekends.

The experience is rich as you get to know our students on many levels, not just academically, and gain a real understanding of them as individuals inside and outside the classroom.  With nearly 30 nationalities represented at Sidcot, you are also exposed to a wealth of different cultures and global perspectives in learning.

Teaching posts are almost invariably advertised in the TES, although some part time or classroom support roles (technicians, learning assistants) may be advertised locally and here.
